Outstanding kids’ content recognised by AACTA

A range of quality children’s programs have been recognised for their excellence with 2022 AACTA Award nominations.

First Day, MaveriX, Bluey, Little J & Big Cuz, Rock Island Mysteries and The PM’s Daughter have been named as finalists in the Best Children’s Program category.

The Netflix Heartbreak High reboot has been nominated in nine categories, including Best Drama Series and Best Screenplay in Television. Two young cast members have received nominations for their performances with James Majoos nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Drama and Thomas Weatherall nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.

The PM’s Daughter and Born to Spy have been nominated for Best Original Score in Television.

The AACTA Awards span film and television, entertainment and factual programming. The ceremony will be held in Sydney Monday December 5 and the ceremony will be broadcast on Network 10 on Wednesday 7 December.
